Randanning or Shallal was a custom used in Scotland and England to make an example out of nagging wives or husbands who had outraged propriety! Written by Erne Parkin and arranged by the band it tells the tale of Old Tom who takes a young wife and is harrassed by the young lads from the village who form a rough band to play outside their house after their wedding night!
