 Cross Border Band at the Place
The club is held monthly usually on a Saturday starting at 7.30pm in the Fraser Centre in Milngavie Precinct, The friendly cafe-style setting is ideal for artists and guests. The organisers encourage local talent to perform on many of their ‘Open Mike’ nights and have a resident group by the name of ‘The Cross Border Band.’  The McCalmans at the PLACE - March 2008 Part of the proceeds from each session goes towards helping Aids Orphans in a feeding station in Ethiopia.
