Your support of Parkin's Place over the past year has been very much appreciated.

The events organised in 2011 have raised several thousand pounds for the Suzy fund so sincere thanks to all who have supported them.

No further events are planned for 2012.

ABOUT PARKIN'S PLACE FOR MUSIC

The Place for Music Folk club in Milngavie was founded and run by Erne Parkin (RIP 2009). For many years, he sent the proceeds from the club to the Suzy Fund , a charity which supports orphans of AIDS victims in Africa.

As a tribute to Erne, friends and fellow musicians have continued to support the Suzy Fund under the general umbrella of Parkin’s Place for Music, through concerts and events in various venues in and around Milngavie. Wherever possible, the aim has been to foster and support local talent .
